Day 1

Areli went off today.  1 hit, 2 hit, 3 hit, 4...5 hits for the warrior!
Syd got 1 hit, scored a run, and played solid defense.
Starting out with a bang!  The month has just begun.  Outside of Areli's five hits, the most memorable part of the day was seeing every guy in the starting lineup wear war paint (eye black).  This was not planned.  Mid game we noticed.  The rest of the team has no idea about the the warriors, but somehow seemed to show their respect...  Coincidence?  I think not.
Another great treat today was seeing Scott Elerton sing Johnny Cash songs on the bus ride to York.  One of the most humble, quiet guys, just gets up and starts singing Karaoke on the bus.  It sounded like the radio, but it truly was Ele.  We couldn't believe it.  We kept saying, "What is going on right now?".  Just when you think it couldn't get any better, something new pops up.
What will tomorrow bring?  Not sure, but documenting this and knowing God is moving through these two warriors is exciting to be a part of.  Come along for the ride and see what unfolds as these two men of God show how powerful The Lord and Holy Spirit's work is.
